Auburn Rotary - A Message from the Club President

Auburn Rotary Club is one of the premiere service organizations located in Auburn, California. It is the oldest Rotary Club in Auburn, chartering on May 20, 1924 and the parent club to two other Rotary Clubs located in Auburn.

It is truly an honor to serve Auburn Rotary Club as its 87^th president. As President of AUBURN ROTARY, I strive to be a servant leader to over 100 members committed to SERVICE ABOVE SELF in our community. It is a privilege to be part of this organization. It is rewarding, exciting, and has the opportunity to change lives, leaving things better than we found them.

RI is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members, in more than 200 countries with 33,000 clubs worldwide. The core essence of Rotary has been defined as a worldwide network of inspired individuals who translate their passions into relevant social causes to change lives in communities.

ROTARIANS are business and community leaders who volunteer their time to promote integrity using the 4-way test as guideline for what they think, do and say. ROTARIANS work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, develop current and future leaders, and promote peace and understanding worldwide. Rotary has been placed on the world stage, partnering with the Bill Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization, to END POLIO NOW. RI is unique in service organizations as a member of the United Nations.

Our AUBURN ROTARY members are highly motivated individuals that have a passion for their community to make it a better place and to provide service to those in need. They are highly motivated and compassionate. If there is something going on in Auburn, you can be assured a member of Auburn Rotary will be involved.
